Other Family At The Ranch

Shining Star - Miniature Horse but family pet also.

Then, there is Diego.  The “big” horse at 15.3 hands. 
He is my trail horse and somehow tolerates being surrounded
by little horses and critters! 
Maybe he feels like a big fish in a small pond?

Harley the Pot Bellied Pig and his three 
pygmy goat friends, Reba, Sweetie and Dusty.

The Bantam Cochen Chickens and one Polish chicken.

Borris the Barn Cat.

Snowy, the tractor driving cat. 
(Someone has to take care of the lawn.)

(NOT PICTURED)  whippet Luna, along with a Cairn Terrier named Toto rescued from the streets and Ginger, and 8 lb apricot poodle that has turned the house upside down! Some rabbits, the ducks, and few others.

Also in memory to my beloved and forever best friends Kayla (May 1980 to February 2007) and Chaske (May 1990 to November 2005).  They were my first whippets!

Not all pets are lucky enough to be a part of a caring family, so several other little homeless critters pass through the Little Star Ranch every year.
That is, we are also a foster home to several humane societies.

Please, Spay or Neuter your pets and Adopt from a shelter if you can!
